As part of our centenary celebrations, Northwood Football Club will be hosting a 
special Celebrity Football Match at the Skyline Roofing Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday 4 May 2026, raising funds for Mount Vernon Cancer Centre Charity. The main celebrity match will kick off at 3.00pm and will feature a host of well-known faces from television, sport and online media. Ahead of the main event, the day will include a series of shorter matches involving teams connected to Northwood FC, celebrating the club’s players, supporters and wider football family. Gates open at 12.00pm, with a full afternoon of football and entertainment planned for supporters of all ages.

Confirmed celebrities:
Calum Best -  son of iconic footballer George Best, is a well-known reality TV personality and Chairman of Dorking Wanderers FC Women’s Team. 

Jake Wood - best known for his role as Max Branning in EastEnders, is an actor and long-standing supporter of grassroots football and an Arsenal Supporter
Dwayne Chambers - a former Olympic and World Championship sprinter, widely regarded as one of Britain’s fastest-ever athletes.
Dean Gaffney - best known for his long-running role as Robbie Jackson in EastEnders and for appearing on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
