Northwood Centenary Golf Day
A great day of golf,
celebrating 100 years of Northwood FC and
raising funds for our charity.
Thursday 30th July 2026
12.00 Registration
12.30 Tee Off
As part of the Northwood Football Club Centenary celebrations, we are delighted to be hosting a special Centenary Golf Day at the wonderful Northwood Golf Club.
This event is aimed at those who genuinely enjoy their golf and are looking for a relaxed but
competitive day on a great course, while also
supporting a very worthwhile local charity.
The day will begin with a 12.30pm start, allowing time to arrive, get settled and enjoy the
surroundings before heading out onto the course. The main competition will be a Stableford format, keeping things competitive but accessible for
players of different abilities. There will be an individual competition, a team game running alongside it, and nearest-the-pin competitions on two holes to add a bit of extra interest and fun.
Players will be out on the course in groups of four, creating a sociable atmosphere and ensuring an
enjoyable pace of play throughout the day. This is very much intended to be a fun occasion as well as a competitive one, giving people the chance to enjoy good golf in good company while celebrating a
significant milestone for the club.
The Centenary Golf Day is open to anyone who enjoys playing golf, has a reasonable handicap and their own set of clubs. You do not need to have any previous connection to Northwood FC to take part, just an enthusiasm for the game and a willingness to get involved in a great day.
Alongside celebrating 100 years of Northwood Football Club, the event will raise funds for our
charity partner, Mount Vernon Cancer Centre Charity, with a particular focus on the Lynda Jackson Centre. This is a much-valued local charity that provides vital support and services to people affected by cancer within our community.
We hope this will be a memorable day that brings people together to enjoy golf, mark an important chapter in Northwood FC’s history and raise money for a cause that means a great deal locally. Whether you enter as an individual or as part of a team, we would love you to join us on the fairways for what promises to be a fantastic Centenary celebration.
