The Northwood 100 Challenge

The Northwood 100 Challenge
invites children and adults to get
active between April and June by
completing 100 laps or 100km,
raising funds through sponsorship and finishing together with a fun run at the Northwood100 Fest, a Community Fun Day on Sunday 5th July.

How it works

Northwood100 is a community fitness and fundraising challenge organised by Northwood FC to celebrate the club’s 100th year.
Participants of all ages will get active between April and June, before coming together for a Community Fun Day on Sunday 5 July at Northwood Recreation Ground.

All sponsorship raised will support Mount Vernon Cancer Care Charity, specifically the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre.

Link to the Moor Park Fun Run

Many local runners and schools already take part in the Moor Park Fun Run in September.

Northwood100 can act as:

  • A training programme for adult runners
  • A gentle introduction to running for school children
  • A confidence-builder for those wanting to take part in September

This makes Northwood100 not just a one-off event, but a stepping stone to longer-term fitness and community involvement.
